First Dayton Cancer Care presented us with a marketing challenge: How to market Dr. Hughes and the CyberKnife, a non-invasive treatment option that destroys cancer cells at the precise spot where they exist. After meeting with the client to discuss their goals and challenges, we began brainstorming. We decided to take a different approach – tell a cancer story from the perspective of a family member. This allowed us to really tap into the emotional uncertainty felt when observing a loved one in their battle against cancer. The concept was easily adaptable, allowing us to create a series of advertisements from different perspectives. The ads were highly effective, bringing in an influx of new patients and appointments. Dr. Hughes received overwhelming response and instantly became recognizable outside of the office.
